Dr. Jennifer Steinhoff, MD, is a highly experienced sports medicine specialist based in Appleton, WI. She is currently practicing at Family Care of the Fox Cities, where she offers specialized care in the non-operative medical treatment of orthopedic injuries. Dr. Steinhoff is dedicated to helping patients manage and overcome pain associated with sports injuries, concussions, fractures, overuse injuries, strains and sprains, as well as arthritis and joint pain.

Dr. Steinhoff completed her undergraduate studies at Carroll College in Waukesha, WI, earning a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2003. She then pursued her medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, graduating in 2008. Following medical school, she completed her residency in Family Medicine at UW Health Fox Valley Family Medicine Residency in Appleton, WI, from 2008 to 2011. To further specialize in sports medicine, Dr. Steinhoff completed a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine (Pediatric Sports Medicine) at University Hospitals/ Rainbow Babies and Children’s in Cleveland, OH, from 2016 to 2018.

Dr. Steinhoff has over 15 years of experience in the medical field and has held various professional roles. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and holds a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Sports Medicine.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Steinhoff is actively involved in leadership and professional organizations. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Fox Cities Marathon. Dr. Steinhoff is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the American College of Sports Medicine, and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine.
