Family Care of the Fox Cities, a comprehensive family medicine practice serving patients of all ages, and Fox Valley Hearing Center, Inc., a provider of personalized hearing healthcare, are proud to be offering free care to performers at Appleton’s Mile of Music festival, July 30-Aug. 2, 2026, through the Artist Care Program.
Family Care of the Fox Cities will provide free primary care services to artists at its Appleton clinic, located on Van Roy Road. Fox Valley Hearing Center, Inc. will provide on-site hearing care at the Performing Arts Center (PAC), including taking ear impressions to fit musicians for custom earplugs.
The two providers regularly operate out of the same medical building on Van Roy Road in Appleton and share a commitment to delivering accessible, high-quality care and supporting the health of the Fox Cities community.
“Working musicians often face real challenges accessing consistent healthcare,” said Dr. Julianne Falleroni, co-owner and physician at Family Care of the Fox Cities. “By offering no-cost services while artists are already in town to perform, we are living out our commitment to care for people in practical, meaningful ways.”
“Musicians are uniquely vulnerable to hearing damage, yet hearing health is one of the first things to go overlooked,” said Dr. Debra Engebos, audiologist at Fox Valley Hearing Center, Inc. “Through Artist Care, we’re able to provide musicians with custom hearing protection that supports their careers and helps them continue making music for years to come.”
Artist Care is exclusively offered to performers at Mile of Music and it is reflective of the belief that if artists are cared for, then the music and experience is better for everyone. The program also provides other free health services, including:
